    Abstract: A noninvasive patient-specific method is provided to aid in the analysis, diagnosis, prediction or treatment of hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system of a patient. Coronary blood flow and pressure can be predicted using a 3-D patient image-based model that is implicitly coupled with a model of at least a portion of the remaining cardiovascular system. The 3-D patient image-based model includes at least a portion of the thoracic aorta and epicardial coronaries of the patient. The shape of one or more velocity profiles at the interface of the models is enforced to control complex flow features of recirculating or retrograde flow thereby minimizing model instabilities and resulting in patient-specific predictions of coronary flow rate and pressure. The invention allows for patient-specific predictions of the effect of different or varying physiological states and hemodynamic benefits of coronary medical interventions, percutaneous coronary interventions and surgical therapies.

The second type permits a smaller individual to be properly secured to a restraint system in spite of his small stature. The guides are made of multiple layers of metal, plastic or other structurally significant materials, or combinations thereof, and designed to receive the energy of a collision such that a guide will deform, without breaking, absorbing the energy of a collision or other abrupt action.

    Abstract: An upright suitcase includes a front section and an opposing rear section, each having an outer panel and a circumferential wall with a bottom edge and a plurality of free edges. The bottom edges are hingedly connected for movement of the opposing front and rear sections between an open position, in which access to the opposing sections is provided, and a closed position, in which all of the edges of the two circumferential walls are in juxtaposition. A zipper closure engages the opposing sections and selectively holds the free edges of the circumferential walls in juxtaposition. A divider panel is positioned within the upright suitcase to at least partially divide the opposing sections from each other when in the closed position. The divider panel has one end flexibly tethered to the rear circumferential wall and is movable into and out of the rear section.

    Abstract: A suitcase has a retractable pull handle. The suitcase includes parallel front and back panels and a wall member which combine to define an enclosed volume. A rigid pull handle is mounted in juxtaposition to the top portion of the wall member. Rollers are mounted on the bottom portion of the wall member opposite the pull handle. The pull handle is extendable to pulling position extending generally parallel to the front and back panels. In the extended position, the pull handle is operable to enable a user to roll the suitcase across a surface on the rollers with the weight of the suitcase being distributed between the rollers and the pull handle. The pull handle is retractable into the inside of the suitcase when not in use. In the retracted position, the gripping member of the pull handle is received into a handle receptacle recessed into the top portion of the wall member. A closure secures the pull handle inside the handle receptacle to prevent accidental extension of the pull handle.

The signal magnitude detector has lower and upper threshold limits representing a desired range of attenuation and is operable to receive and compare a control signal with the lower and upper threshold limits, and, in response thereto, produce either a first signal if the control signal is less than the lower threshold limit or a second signal if the control signal is greater than the upper threshold limit. The adjustment control is capable of receiving the first and second signals and is operable to produce either a digital count-down signal in response to the first signal or a digital count-up signal in response to the second signal. The resistance divider network has a fixed resistance and a digitally-adjustable device with a variable resistance.

Emitter regions of vertical PNP and NPN bipolar transistors are self-aligned in a small chip area, and thereby the performance of the BICMOS device is improved due to the stable threshold voltage characteristic of the PMOS and NMOS transistors and high density is achieved together with improved operation speed clue to the self-alignment formation of the emitter region of the vertical PNP and NPN bipolar transistors.
