Abstract: A retractable writing instrument having a dryness prevention device is disclosed. The retractable writing instrument includes a casing (10), which has a nib hole therein, a cartridge (20), which has a nib coupling protrusion for coupling a nib (24) to a nib extension tube, and a spring for providing elastic restoring force. The writing instrument further includes an Oring member (50), which is coupled to the nib extension tube, and an openable ring (40), which is rotatably coupled to the Oring member (50). When a knock part is pushed, the openable ring (40) is rotated, such that a through passage is opened, and the nib is protruded outside through the nib hole. When the cartridge is moved backwards, the nib coupling protrusion of the cartridge holds the Oring member and is moved backwards along with the Oring member, thereby rotating the openable ring, thus closing the through passage.

Abstract: The present invention provides a screw-type writing instrument having an expansion and contraction function in which an outer shaft cam, a cartridge holder and an inner shaft cam are coupled in a double screw manner, so that the expansion or contraction of the writing instrument and the advancing or retracting operation of a pen core can be simultaneously conducted, thus being convenient to use, and which, thanks to the contractible structure, is convenient to carry and hold.

Abstract: Disclosed is a slide pen. The slide pen includes (a) a pen core having a nib, (b) a tubular pen core slider having an open lower end, a pen core coupler, and guide ridges formed at an upper portion thereof, so as to allow the nib of the pen core to protrude through the lower end thereof and to allow the pen core to be held and coupled therein, and (c) a body casing having a tubular upper portion formed with a guide slot so as to allow the guide ridges of the pen core slider to vertically move and be fixed, a tubular intermediate portion being partially open such that the pen core slider is held inside so as to allow the outer circumference of the pen core slider to be exposed outside, and a conical lower portion having an open lower end so as to allow the nib of the pen core to be moved in and out.

Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a safety knock-type writing instrument. The writing instrument includes a barrel (10) with a cartridge (50), a gear unit (30), and a knock unit (60). The gear unit (30) is positioned on an exterior of the barrel (10) and rotatably seated on a clip (20). The knock unit (60) is provided in the barrel (10), and includes first and second protrusions (61, 62) to engage with the gear unit (30), thus operating the gear unit. In this writing instrument, when the first protrusion (61) of the knock unit disengages from the gear unit (30), the cartridge is retracted into the barrel. Thus, although a user puts the writing instrument, with the cartridge extended, in a pocket without first retracting the cartridge, the cartridge is automatically retracted into the barrel, thus preventing his/her clothing from being stained by the cartridge.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a slide type writing tool having a dryness prevention unit. The writing tool includes a hollow shaft (10) having a nib hole, with shutter shaft seats protruding from the inner wall of the shaft. A cartridge (20) is secured to the shaft. A knock part is inserted into an insert hole formed in the shaft, and a pair of pressing parts is provided on a nib extension shaft of the cartridge. A rear O-ring (30) surrounds an end of the cartridge. A spherical shutter (40) is held in the rear O-ring (30), and has a spherical shutter part to isolate a nib from the exterior. A front O-ring (50) contacts the shutter part and the nib hole. A spring contacts at a first end thereof a lower end of a step of the cartridge, and at a second end thereof a step of the rear O-ring.

The glue dispenser includes an inner tube, an outer tube coupled to the inner tube at an upper end thereof in such a way to allow a lower end of the outer tube to be pressed radially inward, and a cap coupled to a lower end of the inner tube, with an upper end of the cap having a slant face. The cap is separated from the inner tube by a sliding contact between the lower end of the outer tube and the slant face of the cap when a lower part of the outer tube is pressed raidally inward. In one embodiment, the inner tube contains a holder for holding solid glue content. The holder is threadedly coupled to a screw which passes through the inner tube, thereby enabling the holder to move the solid liquid content in the inner tube by rotating the screw. In another embodiment, the inner tube contains liquid glue content therein.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a telescopic stepped display stand for writing tools. The display stand for writing tools includes a body having different diameter holders telescopically arranged in the body. Each of the holders has a circular bottom wall, a cylindrical sidewall, and a plurality of partition plates placed in the space defined by the bottom wall and the sidewall such that the partition plates are spaced apart at predetermined circumferential intervals and form reception cells. The open upper end of the body is closed by a cover. The cover has a circular end wall, a cylindrical sidewall vertically extending from the edge of the end wall, and a central push rod vertically extending from the center of the inner surface of the end wall to a predetermined length. In operation, the central push rod of the cover is placed below the body and pushes the lower surface of the body so that the telescopically arranged holders are sequentially raised upwards.
