  • Patent number: 9661574
Abstract: Provided are a method and system for providing a sleep state in a device accessible to a wired or wireless network. Provided are a method and a system, which dynamically determine the optimal parameter in a sleep state depending on a network characteristic in providing the sleep state to a network-accessible terminal, and thus reduce the period of an active state of the network-accessible terminal, thereby considerably decreasing power consumption. Provided are a method and a system, which do not unnecessarily use a clock in an active state by selecting the optimal clock according to a purpose of transiting from the sleep state to the active state, and thus reduce the period of the active state of the network-accessible terminal, thereby considerably decreasing power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20130103379
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for verifying interoperability between application software and AUTOSAR services. The apparatus includes an AUTOSAR interoperability configuration unit configured to configure an interoperability relationship between AUTOSAR service components defined to provide the AUTOSAR services and the components of the application software for an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) performing functions requested by the application software and a simulation unit configured to perform simulations in order to verify whether the interoperated AUTOSAR service components and the components of the application software are normally driven or not based on scheduled task timing.

  • Publication number: 20120167045
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for evaluating Automobile Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR) meta file-based basic software properties. The apparatus includes a meta file generation unit, a basic software configuration unit, and a basic software property evaluation unit. The meta file generation unit generates the meta file properties of an AUTOSAR meta file. The basic software configuration unit sets the basic software properties of a basic software configuration file. The basic software property evaluation unit evaluates basic software properties using the meta file properties in order to determine whether the basic software properties were set in conformity with an AUTOSAR standard.

  • Patent number: 7889693
Abstract: Provided is a method and system for providing a QoS in a broadband convergence network deploying a mobile IP. In the method, a service and policy is defined at a first network design stage for guaranteeing the QoS of the broadband convergence network. QoS parameters corresponding to the defined service and policy are reflected in a DSCP field corresponding to the defined service. The DSCP field and the QoS parameters are applied to an access router in a management network. Accordingly, the QoS can be guaranteed to be suitable for the service and policy and a seamless handover guaranteeing the QoS can be provided.

  • Patent number: 7733784
Abstract: In an apparatus and method of selecting a label switched path (LSP) in a network management system, a status analyzing unit analyzes and digitizes performance information, fault occurrence, and fault history of a link. A link weight managing unit which determines link weight values using a predetermined weight calculation algorithm on second constraints that corresponds to qualitative information related to performance analysis of a path. An LSP selecting unit selects a path, from among paths on a path list, that satisfies first constraints which corresponds to objective information related to a path selection required by the administrative network policy, and, when there are several selected paths, selects a path that minimizes expense using the link weight values.

  • Patent number: 7599310
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for managing quality of a multi protocol label switching (MPLS) label switched path (LSP), which has been previously established in a convergence network. The apparatus for managing quality of a LSP includes: LSP provisioning/releasing means for provisioning and releasing the LSP in a convergence network; and LSP quality management means for measuring the quality of the LSP on the basis of performance information received from the each node through which the LSP passes, wherein the LSP quality management means transmits alert information to the LSP provisioning/releasing means, when the measured quality of the LSP deviates from a predetermined performance threshold, so that the LSP is readjusted.

  • Publication number: 20090129282
Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for periodically measuring speech quality in a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) terminal while a VoIP call between VoIP terminals is in progress. The method comprises: receiving summary information regarding traffic sent from an opposite VoIP terminal; and evaluating speech quality by comparing the summary information with actually received information regarding the traffic sent from the opposite VoIP. Accordingly, each VoIP terminal can precisely evaluate the speech quality periodically and send the evaluation result to each other.
