To do so, a timer is started as soon as the user hits send for SMS to an emergency number. The location is recalculated until the timer runs out or the desired location uncertainty is achieved. For example, if the timer is still running and the location uncertainty is greater than a pre-configured threshold, the UE keeps recalculating the location.
