  • Patent number: 9399891
Abstract: A drilling system includes a derrick installed on a platform of a stationary floating structure. An activity forms a borehole in a sea-bed, and carries out installation of a casing pipe assembly and a BOP assembly in the formed borehole. A BOP trolley forms the BOP assembly together with the activity, and moves while supporting the formed BOP assembly thereon. A slot is formed on a work stand of a moon pool for underwater storage of the BOP assembly so as to extend parallel with the direction of movement of the BOP trolley, and suppresses shaking of risers when the BOP assembly positioned underwater is moved by the BOP trolley and the BOP assembly is moved to an underwater storage position.

  • Patent number: 9027492
Abstract: Disclosed is a drillship having a vortex suppression block with a recessed flow stabilizing part in a moon pool. The flow stabilizing section is formed so that a bottom of the vortex suppression block that protrudes from a bottom of a hull toward a stern in the moon pool is recessed in an upward direction of the hull to stabilize a flow in the moon pool and reduce a variation in resistance of the drillship. The flow stabilizing section (30) is formed by partly recessing the bottom of the vortex suppression block toward an upper portion of the hull. The drillship having this configuration provides resistance performance improvement and flow stabilization of the drillship.

  • Publication number: 20040239048
Abstract: A method for producing includes forming a gasket body (35), the gasket body including a center opening (40) and a plurality of passageways (45, 46), and forming connecting protrusions at areas defining the center opening if desired and select passageways; forming a Teflon member (47) that includes a connecting groove corresponding to a shape of the connecting protrusions; etching a surface of the Teflon member that will contact the gasket body, applying an adhesive to the gasket body and the Teflon member, and adhering the Teflon member to the connecting protrusions of the gasket body; placing the gasket body with the Teflon member adhered thereon in a mold and pressing the Teflon member to remove air between the gasket body and the Teflon member; and again placing the gasket member with the Teflon member adhered thereon in a mold and pressing.

  • Patent number: 5826437
Abstract: A refrigerator has a door duct installed inside a door and being formed with a cool air suction port and many cool air discharge ports which are opened at an inner surface of the door, and a blowing fan installed at the cool air suction port for supplying cool air in a fresh food compartment into the door duct. The cool air in the fresh food compartment is directed toward the door by the blowing fan, so the cool air is uniformly distributed in the fresh food compartment. Furthermore, the cool air drawn into the door duct is supplied into pockets formed inner side surface of the door through the cool air discharge port, so the inner space of the pockets are effectively cooled.
