The mobile device includes a communication unit that performs communication with an external environment, a signal processor that processes signals transmitted and received through the communication unit, and a display unit that displays an image based on a signal processed by the signal processor. The mobile device also includes a controller that controls the communication unit to transmit a profile corresponding to a request to a content delivery apparatus when the request for the profile is received from the content delivery apparatus located within a predetermined zone, and to receive content corresponding to the transmitted profile. Customized contents can be provided to the mobile device on the basis of a user's profile.
