Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for periodically measuring speech quality in a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) terminal while a VoIP call between VoIP terminals is in progress. The method comprises: receiving summary information regarding traffic sent from an opposite VoIP terminal; and evaluating speech quality by comparing the summary information with actually received information regarding the traffic sent from the opposite VoIP. Accordingly, each VoIP terminal can precisely evaluate the speech quality periodically and send the evaluation result to each other.

Abstract: A traffic measurement system and a traffic analysis method are provided. The traffic measurement system includes a plurality of measurement devices that collect all of packets flowing through Internet links, extract traffic data required to analyze traffic from the collected packets, and process the extracted data into predetermined flow types, and an analysis server that identifies applications of traffic by analyzing the traffic data transferred from the plurality of measurement devices as a whole, classifies the identified applications into predetermined traffic types, and outputs the classification result. The traffic measurement system measures the traffics in the Internet network and processes the measured traffics to generate detailed traffic statistical data according to applications.

Abstract: A method and system for processing billing of including QoS information are provided. In the method, a call is initiated by transmitting/receiving packets directly to/from an opponent terminal after signaling with the opponent terminal using a session initiation protocol through the signaling server. Then, QoS of the call is measured while communicating with the opponent terminal. A billing process is performed of including the QoS measuring result by transmitting the QoS measuring result to the signaling server after the call established to the opponent terminal is terminated.
