  • Patent number: 11970394
Abstract: Provided is a method of synthesizing apatite powder by emitting a laser beam to a surface of a substrate immersed in a precursor solution. The method is including immersing a substrate in an apatite-forming precursor solution, emitting a laser beam to a region on a surface of the substrate immersed in the precursor solution, and obtaining apatite powder generated in the precursor solution.

  • Patent number: 8890069
Abstract: A method for detecting defects includes irradiating at least one electron beam into a first region of a substrate, irradiating at least one electron beam into a second region electrically connected to the first region, and detecting secondary electrons emitted from the second region. The electron beam irradiated into the first region may be the same or different from the electron beam irradiated into the second region. Alternatively, different beams may be simultaneously irradiated into the first and second regions. An image generated based on the secondary electrons shows a defect in the substrate as a region having a grayscale difference with other regions in the image.

  • Patent number: 8247213
Abstract: Provided is a method for massive culture of Dinophysis acuminata which is a marine dinoflagellate causing diarrhetic shellfish poisoning, and methods for extracting, isolating and purifying the shellfish toxin pectenotoxin-2 from the cultured Dinophysis acuminata. Particularly, Dinophysis acuminata is cultured massively in massive culture apparatus comprising polycarbonate water bath having the bottom sinking down toward the center of the bottom; acryl tube (E) containing fluorescent lamp laid long in the center of the water bath; air supplying device (B) supplying the air to the sinking center of the bottom of the water bath; and air purifying device containing one or more devices selected from the group consisting of UV lamp (C) and carbon cartridge filter (D) purifying the air supplied by the said air supplying device.

  • Patent number: 8084242
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a medium for cultivating the marine dinoflagellate Dinophysis acuminata. The laboratory culture of D. acuminata causing diarrhetic shellfish poisoning, whose cultivation was known difficult, has been first established, thereby contributing to a better understanding of ecophysiology, biology and toxicology of Dinophysis species, as well as the evolution of dinoflagellate plastids.
