Abstract: An apparatus and a method for improving nonlinearity of a power amplifier in a wireless communication system are provided. A transmission apparatus in a wireless communication system comprises: at least one processor; a transceiver; and an amplifier for amplifying a signal provided from the transceiver, wherein if a power of a signal inputted into the transceiver is smaller than a reference value, the transceiver attenuates the power of the signal based on a gain compensation value corresponding to the power of the signal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions of a manganese sulfide (MnS) compound useful as additives for making a sintered product. Also disclosed herein is a method of making the composistions in which molybdenum (Mo) or Fe—Mo is added to the MnS compound to improve machinability and to obtain a more stable MnS compound, thereby reducing any change in weight and size in a sintering process. The compositions can suppress erosion of parts in a sintering furnace during a sintering process, prevent sooting on a surface of the sintered product from occurring, and enhance resistance to moisture in the air to keep the sintered product in the air for a long time.

Abstract: An elastic sided curved absorbent pad is provided with soft side edges providing efficient leakage protection without irritation. The pad has elasticized side panels which comprise at least two layers of non-woven material mounted between a cover and baffle, projecting beyond the side edges of the cover and the baffle, giving the panel soft, free outer distal edges and one or more elastic members inboard from the free distal edge. The layers of non-woven material and the elastic member are bonded together, except for the distal edges which are not bonded. This provides a lace-like appearance and feel.

Abstract: An individually packaged absorbent article and a method for making the same is disclosed. The individual package comprises an absorbent pad having side tabs and a wrapper having a central release strip which may be parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wrapper. On either side of the central release strip are tab release members, the tab release members and the central release strip being permanently attached to the wrapper. The wrapper and the absorbent pad are folded as a unit about at least two lateral spaced-apart fold lines.
