  • Patent number: 10459263
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a display panel capable of improving operational reliability of a gate driver and a borderless type display including the same. The display panel allows light to be incident on at least one gate TFT of a gate driver formed to have a GIP structure to prevent degradation of gate TFTs due to positive shift of threshold voltage of the gate TFTs and to prevent reduction in output current of the gate driver, thereby improving the operational reliability of the gate driver.

  • Patent number: 9911391
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides a liquid crystal display including a liquid crystal panel having a display area and a non-display area; left and right common voltage lines connected to common voltage lines formed in the display area and located in the non-display area on the left and right sides of the display area; and a common voltage compensator that receives feedback common voltages from the left and right common voltage lines and outputs compensated common voltages based on the feedback common voltages, wherein the common voltage compensator divides the display area into a first display area and a second display area with respect to the center of the liquid crystal panel and performs different compensation to the first display area and the second display area.

  • Patent number: 9019464
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device including a cut portion at a position not overlapping the gate electrode such the pixel electrode is floating and does not receive a voltage from the source electrode via the active layer and the drain electrode; a second insulating layer above the first insulating layer; a plurality of common electrodes on the second insulating layer; and a welded portion at a region where a corresponding common electrode overlaps the drain electrode. Further, the drain electrode and the pixel electrode are electrically connected to each other via a connection pattern formed in a contact hole such that the welded portion floats the pixel electrode.
