    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a method for non-destructive inspection of cell etch redeposition. In some embodiments of the method, a grayscale image of a plurality of cells on a wafer is captured. The grayscale image provides a top down view of the cells and, in some embodiments, is captured in situ after etching to form the cells. The cells are identified in the grayscale image to determine non-region of interest (non-ROI) pixels corresponding to the cells. The non-ROI pixels are subtracted from the grayscale image to determine ROI pixels. The ROI pixels are remaining pixels after the subtracting and correspond to material on sidewalls of, and in recesses between, the cells. An amount of etch redeposition on the sidewalls and in the recesses is then scored based on gray levels of the ROI pixels. Further, the wafer is processed based on the score.

In the display mode, the scan line receives a first voltage to turn off a switch unit and enable a pixel unit to receive a pixel voltage signal from a first signal transmission line; and in the touch mode, the scan line receives a second voltage to turn on the switch unit and disable the corresponding pixel unit to stop receiving the pixel voltage signal, such that a sensing pixel unit outputs a touch sensing signal to the first signal transmission line through the switch unit, wherein the first voltage is greater than the second voltage. In the disclosure, an aperture ratio of the touch display panel is improved efficiently to meet the requirement of narrow border design of the touch display panel.

    Abstract: An apparatus for identifying morphology comprises a substrate, a driving circuit, a readout circuit and an identifying circuit. The substrate comprises temperature sensors each comprising a sensing transistor. The driving circuit selects at least one of the transistors as a target sensing transistor, and outputs a driving signal to the target sensing transistor to heat the target sensing transistor in a heating period. The target sensing transistor senses a temperature change to generate a sensing signal in a sensing period after the heating period. The readout circuit reads the sensing signal, and the identifying circuit identifies the morphology according to the sensing signal.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A bottom gate, a gate insulating layer and an amorphous semiconductor layer are formed on a substrate. The amorphous semiconductor layer has an uneven upper surface. A laser annealing process is performed on the amorphous semiconductor layer through the uneven upper layer to transform the amorphous semiconductor layer into a polycrystalline semiconductor layer having a smaller-crystallizing-section and a greater-crystallizing-section. Another gate insulating layer, an upper gate and patterned photoresist layer are formed on the polycrystalline semiconductor layer. Patterns of the upper gate and the bottom gate are defined by the same photo-mask. A source/drain is formed in the polycrystalline semiconductor layer. An etching process with etching selectivity is performed on the upper gate and the patterned photoresist layer to make a length of the upper gate shorter than that of the bottom gate.
