  • Publication number: 20240121685
Abstract: A method of reducing gray energy consumption and achieving optimal gray energy saving for carbon neutralization is proposed. In a cellular network, each cell or BS (group of cells) has renewable (green) and non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) energy sources. The renewable (green) energy is highly variable and unpredictable, while non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) is stable but is not renewable and thus has more carbon impact. Each cell or BS (group of cells) services is associated UEs when it is on. In one novel aspect, a cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes more non-renewable energy can give some or all of its served UEs to another cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes less non-renewable energy.

  • Publication number: 20240098330
Abstract: A display device and a signal source switching method therefore are provided. The display device is connected with a first signal source device and a second signal source device and includes a switching circuit, a receiver circuit and a control circuit. The switching circuit includes a first connection port and a second connection port, which are respectively connected to the first signal source device and the second signal source device. When the control circuit receives a signal source switching command, the control circuit records a current operating state of each of the first signal source device and the second signal source device. When the control circuit receives an active source command from the first signal source device, the control circuit refers to the current operating state to control the switching circuit to switch the image signal source to the first signal source device or the second signal source device.

  • Publication number: 20100099053
Abstract: A lighter, in the form of a tubular shape in particular, is provided with a safety button. The lighter includes an ignition button having a surface to which the safety button is mounted. The surface of the ignition button defines a slot in which the safety button is received. The safety button is biased by a spring to have a pin engaging a notch defined in an inside wall of a casing of the lighter to set the lighter in a locked status. The safety button can be manually moved against the spring to disengage the safety pin from the notch to thereby release the locked status, and then the ignition button can be pressed down to set a fire at a fire outlet orifice that receives fuel from a fuel container accommodated in the casing.

  • Publication number: 20070287113
Abstract: A safety device is mounted on a top side of a casing of a lighter, and includes an ignition button and a safety switch arranged on the ignition button. The ignition button is movably received in an open chamber defined in the top side of the casing to be depressible for ignition. The ignition button has a top face in which a slot is defined. The safety switch has a bottom face on which a projection is formed. The projection is movably received in the slot to retain the safety switch on the ignition button. A spring is arranged between the projection and the ignition button to provide the safety switch with a biasing force. The safety switch must be moved aside to disengage from a stop formed on a wall above the open chamber of the casing before the ignition button is depressed to set a fire on a fire outlet opening.

  • Publication number: 20070287112
Abstract: A fire lighter includes a casing accommodating an ignition mechanism and defining an open chamber in which an ignition button is movably received. The ignition button is depressible by a user to actuate the ignition mechanism. A safety lock includes a movable button positioned on the ignition button. The movable button has a bottom face on which first and second projections are formed. The projections are movably received in slots defined in the ignition button and biased by springs arranged between the ignition button and the movable button to ensure smooth and stable movement of the movable button and to eliminate potential problem of jamming of the movable button.
