  • Publication number: 20240086590
Abstract: An adaptive grid generating method includes obtaining a first three-dimensional grid of a target structure; importing the first three-dimensional grid into a computer-aided engineering software to obtain a first two-dimensional planar grid; importing the first two-dimensional planar grid into a grid cleaning software to obtain a second two-dimensional planar grid; and importing the second two-dimensional planar grid into the computer-aided engineering software to obtain a second three-dimensional grid.

  • Publication number: 20240071834
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device includes forming a plurality of fin structures extending in a first direction over a semiconductor substrate. Each fin structure includes a first region proximate to the semiconductor substrate and a second region distal to the semiconductor substrate. An electrically conductive layer is formed between the first regions of a first adjacent pair of fin structures. A gate electrode structure is formed extending in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction over the fin structure second region, and a metallization layer including at least one conductive line is formed over the gate electrode structure.

  • Publication number: 20170194525
Abstract: A high power solar cell module including a cover plate, a back plate, a first encapsulation, a second encapsulation, a plurality of N type hetero-junction solar cells, and a plurality of reflective connection ribbons is provided. The back plate is opposite to the cover plate. The first encapsulation is located between the cover plate and the back plate. The second encapsulation is located between the first encapsulation and the back plate. The N type hetero-junction solar cells and the reflective connection ribbons are located between the first encapsulation and the second encapsulation, and any two adjacent N type hetero junction solar cells are connected in series along a first direction by at least one of the reflective connection ribbons, wherein each of the reflective connection ribbons has a plurality of triangle columnar structures. Each of the triangle columnar structures points to the cover plate and extends along the first direction.

  • Patent number: 8143513
Abstract: A solar cell with a superlattice structure and a fabricating method thereof are provided, which includes fabricating a superlattice structure of GaAsN/GaInAs, GaAsN/GaSbAs, or GaAsN/GaInSbAs between a base and an emitter of a middle cell of a triple junction solar cell by a strain-compensation technology. The provided solar cell not only decreases crystalline defects and increases the critical thickness of the crystal, but also makes the energy bandgap of GaAsN and GaInAs reach around the energy of 1.0 eV (electron volt). Hence, the absorption region can be raised to around the energy of 1.0 eV to enhance the efficiency of the solar cell.

  • Patent number: 7860650
Abstract: A navigation device with power saving mechanism and method thereof are provided. The navigation device includes a global positioning system (GPS) receiver, a first processing unit, a second processing unit and a sound playing unit. The GPS receiver produces a longitude-latitude information by receiving a satellite signal from the GPS. The first processing unit switches from a first mode to a second mode according to a control signal. Then, the first processing unit is disabled after switching. When the second processing unit is enabled, a direction information and a distance information are generated by comparing the longitude-latitude information with a destination information. The sound playing unit selects two frequencies among a plurality of navigation frequencies according to the direction information and the distance information, and plays the tone signals which are comprised of the two frequencies in sequence.
