    Abstract: A cable television apparatus is applied to an input coaxial cable and an output coaxial cable to transmit a cable television signal. The cable television apparatus includes an improved choke, an input side, an output side, an input capacitor and an output capacitor. The improved choke is electrically connected to the input coaxial cable, the output coaxial cable, the input side, the output side, the input capacitor and the output capacitor. The improved choke includes a conductive wire and a ferrite core. One side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the input side and one side of the input capacitor. The other side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the output side and one side of the output capacitor. The ferrite core covers one part of the conductive wire. Moreover, the ferrite core is a high saturation current ferrite core.

Each of the first and second connecting terminals includes a pin electrically connecting the circuit board and the corresponding one of the input and output terminals. The pin has a segment that is between the circuit board and the corresponding one of the input and output terminals and that has a length ranging from 4 to 15 mm.

At least part of the main signal ports is out of contact with the seat shell. A pair of pushing rods is provided in the housing. The seat shell has an insulative element, a pair of elastic beam terminals and a conductive element. The conductive element connects with the elastic beam terminals. Each of the elastic beam terminals is separately and movably arranged between one of the main signal ports and the seat shell. The seat shell has ferrite elements. A splitter board is disposed in the cover shell. The splitter board has a pair of first terminals correspondingly connecting with second terminals in the main signal ports. Splitting signal ports electrically connecting with the splitter board are provided outside the cover shell.
