  • Patent number: 11508156
Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes a camera and an electronic control unit (ECU) with an image processor. The ECU generates a reduced resolution frame of captured image data and the ECU determines a reduced resolution detection result based on pedestrian detection using the reduced resolution frame of captured image data. The ECU, responsive to processing by the image processor of image data, generates a cropped frame of captured image data and the ECU determines a cropped detection result based on pedestrian detection using the cropped frame of captured image data. Responsive to determining the reduced resolution detection result and determining the cropped detection result, the ECU merges the reduced resolution detection result and the cropped detection result into a final pedestrian detection result. The final pedestrian detection result is indicative of presence of a pedestrian within the field of view of the camera.

  • Patent number: 9792685
Abstract: An image capturing device and a method for calibrating image deformation thereof are provided. The image capturing device has a first image sensor and a second image sensor and the method includes following steps. A plurality of image groups are captured through the first image sensor and the second image sensor. Each of the image groups includes a first image and a second image, and the image groups include a reference image group. Whether an image deformation occurs on a first reference image and a second reference image in the reference image group is detected. If it is detected that the image deformation occurs on the reference image group, a current calibration parameter is updated according to a plurality of feature point comparison values corresponding to the image groups. The current calibration parameter is used for performing an image rectification on each of the first images and the second images.

  • Publication number: 20150309339
Abstract: A tunable optical filter with an optical axis is provided. An input light field moves forward from an upstream end to a downstream end, and passes through the tunable optical filter to form an output light field. The input light field has a main frequency range and a sub-frequency range, and the output light field has the main frequency range. The tunable optical filter includes an optical filtering element and a temperature controlling assembly. The optical filtering element has a lens body, a first and second coating films. A resonant cavity with a cavity length is formed inside the lens body. The temperature controlling assembly is thermally connected with the optical filtering element. The temperature controlling assembly controls the temperature of the optical filtering element to adjust the cavity length, so as to select the main frequency range. A tunable optical filter module having the tunable optical filter is provided.
