    Abstract: A panel structure (10) is formed from two sheets (12). The sheets (12) are spaced apart to provide avoid (13) between them. The sheets (12) are tied together at various positions (14). The ties (14) are formed of substantially the same material as the sheets (12), in such a way that the sheets (12) and the tie means (14) form an uninterrupted body of material. The ties (14) leave unobstructed voids (13) within the plane of the panel. An elongate reinforcing member (15) is located within one of the voids.
