  • Publication number: 20250176661
Abstract: An inner sole for a sports shoe includes a top surface arranged to face a foot of a wearer of a shoe when the inner sole is arranged in the shoe. The top surface of the inner sole includes at least two textured areas. The textured areas each include a plurality of protuberances, recesses, or holes. The top surface further includes at least one untextured area not having protuberances, recesses or holes. A first textured area is located in a toe region of the inner sole, and a second textured area is located in a heel region of the inner sole.

  • Publication number: 20240365922
Abstract: Midsoles for articles of footwear are formed of a variety of three dimensional mesh lattices. The lattices can be populated by unit cells of various base geometries. Some base geometries are structures of struts and nodes that approximate the overall shape of an implicit surface. Some base geometries are structures of struts and nodes that include struts having at least two different effective diameters. Some lattices are compound lattices that include and blend together at least two lattices populated by cells having different base geometries. Some compound lattices have a skin that includes beams extending across multiple cells at the exterior of the compound lattice.

  • Publication number: 20220110407
Abstract: Soles for articles of footwear including a mechanically anisotropic three-dimensional mesh. The mechanically anisotropic three-dimensional mesh can include one or more mechanically anisotropic regions with a first lattice shear modulus measured in a first direction and a second lattice shear modulus measured in a second direction opposite to or orthogonal to the first direction. The first and second lattice shear moduli are different to provide the three-dimensional mesh with mechanically anisotropic properties. The mechanically anisotropic three-dimensional mesh can be three-dimensionally printed.
