  • Patent number: 11253108
Abstract: A shower-screen pivot device comprises a seating element mountable to a shower surface, and a screen-support element for supporting at least part of a shower screen. The seating element has a first panel-pivot element, and the screen-support element has a second panel-pivot element which is engagable with the first panel-pivot element. When interengaged, the first and second panel-pivot elements are rotatable relative to each other about a panel-pivot axis P which is parallel to a base of the seating element. This enables an installer to semi-erect a shower-screen panel with a lower edge watertightly sealed, and leave it unattended and self-supported whilst attending to other panels.

  • Publication number: 20210396585
Abstract: In some examples, a method for generating an interactive three-dimensional quantitative thermal heat flow mapping of an environment comprises generating a three-dimensional representation of the environment, the representation comprising multiple surfaces defining respective boundaries of the environment, generating a thermal image representing a surface temperature at multiple points on respective ones of the surfaces of the environment within the three-dimensional representation, determining a measure for an ambient temperature within the environment, determining respective measures for incident radiant temperature of the surfaces, determining respective measures for the emissivity of the surfaces, providing a measure of temperature outside of a surface, calculating, at each of the multiple points, a value for the instantaneous heat flow per unit area using the measures for surface temperature, ambient temperature within the environment and incident radiant temperature of the surfaces, and using the values

  • Patent number: 10988919
Abstract: A shower floor former assembly is provided which comprises a shower floor former having a non-circular waste-plate receiver and a drain waste plate which is dimensioned to be receivable in the waste-plate receiver. A centre point of the waste-plate receiver is offset from a centre point of the shower floor former, and the drain waste plate has a drainage aperture therethrough, a centre point of the drainage aperture being offset from a centre point of the drain waste plate. The drain waste plate is receivable in the waste-plate receiver in a first condition in which the centre point of the drainage aperture is offset relative to the centre point of the shower floor former. The drain waste plate is also receivable in the waste-plate receiver in a second condition in which the centre point of the drainage aperture is coincident with the centre point of the shower floor former.
