  • Publication number: 20130277989
Abstract: A security lock bolt for sealing objects against unauthorized access includes a lock bolt having two bolt locking features that cooperate with two locking features that cooperate with a locking cylinder and transparent cap member secured to the locking cylinder, respectively. The bolt locking feature cooperating with the locking cylinder secures the bolt from unauthorized separation from the locking cylinder and the locking feature that cooperates with the transparent cap is visible to an observer outside the cylinder and locks the bolt against separation from the transparent cap member. The transparent cap locking arrangement provides an indication of full locking of the lock bolt within the locking cylinder. The bolt locking feature associated with the transparent cap member is integrated with an overmolded bolt body casing.

  • Patent number: 8485572
Abstract: A security seal has an outer body, a locking insert, and a shackle. The locking insert and shackle are received within a cavity of the outer body to be locked therein. Once the locking insert is engaged with the outer body, they cannot be disengaged without showing evidence of the disengagement. The evidence of the disengagement can be in the form of damage to any component of the security seal, in the form of mismatching of marked components of the security seal, or in any other suitable form showing evidence of the disengagement.

  • Publication number: 20130026771
Abstract: A security seal using a captured lock wire for sealing a device in a manner revealing tampering with the seal includes a locking insert that fits closely within a central cavity of an outer body and is locked within the outer body against removal without visible damage to the insert or the outer body using locking fingers on the insert that cooperate with locking abutments in the cavity that permit insertion of the locking insert into the central cavity but not removal there from. A lock wire is secured at one end to the locking insert or the outer body in a manner preventing its separation from either of them and a free end of the lock wire is threaded through apertures and grooves in the insert and outer body after being secured to a device to be sealed in a secured manner such that the wire cannot be separated from the security seal without causing visible damage to the seal or wire.

  • Publication number: 20110294381
Abstract: A surf wax comb and holder usable as a surfboard accessory, wherein the comb is secured in a stowed position on the holder by a releasable connection and the holder with the comb stowed thereon is mountable to the top of a surfboard without penetration of the top layer of the board. The comb and holder present a thin, smooth surface that minimizes risk of injury to a surfer while proving the convenience of a readily available surf wax comb on the surfboard.

  • Patent number: 6283517
Abstract: A one-piece security seal is provided which has a superior ergonomic design making the seal easier to put into place and lock. The seal comprises a capsule having a wall which defines an open end and a closed end. The capsule includes a first connection fitting formed therein. A first aperture is formed in the wall of the capsule. A second aperture is formed in the wall of the capsule aligned with and opposite the first aperture. A locking member having an insertion end is connected to the capsule by a flexible connecting arm which is integrally formed therewith. The insertion end is insertable into the open end of the capsule such that a bent path is created between the locking member and the capsule when the insertion end is inserted therein. Also, the insertion end includes a second connection fitting which is designed to cooperate with the first connection fitting of the capsule to provide an irreversible connection between the locking member and the capsule when the insertion end is inserted therein.
