  • Patent number: 12100395
Abstract: Some implementations relate to an automated assistant that can provide assistant suggestions based on content that the user has requested for the automated assistant to render at a computing device. In some instances, an assistant suggestion can correspond to a portion of the content that is not being rendered at the computing device but that is part of the content that the user is accessing. In other instances, an assistant suggestion can be based on data that can indicate how one or more users may have interacted with their automated assistant when viewing the content. Therefore, an assistant suggestion can correspond to an assistant operation that may have been initialized by another user who had previously viewed the content. In some implementations, an arrangement of the assistant suggestions can be modified according to which part of the content a user is viewing and/or user distance.

  • Publication number: 20240302042
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for a turbine engine. This turbine engine apparatus includes a combustor wall, and the combustor wall includes a panel, a deflector and a quench aperture that extends along an aperture centerline through the combustor wall to an aperture outlet into a combustion chamber. The panel extends axially along and circumferentially about an axis. The panel extends radially between a first panel side and a second panel side. The first panel side forms a peripheral boundary of the combustion chamber. The panel forms a downstream side of the aperture outlet at the first panel side. The deflector projects out from the panel at the first panel side into the combustion chamber. The deflector forms an upstream side of the aperture outlet.

  • Publication number: 20190034980
Abstract: A scalable voucher system used to manage how content (specifically advertisements) is delivered to client devices is described. The advertisements are stored on a plurality of different ad servers. With the use of vouchers that are assigned to each ad server for pre-determined periods of time, the voucher system is able to manage when and how advertisements should be provided to the client devices. The voucher system also provides an arrangement that allows for the use of additional ad servers to be scalable. As the number of client devices that would need to be serviced with advertisements increases, the voucher system is able to easily accommodate the increase number of clients with the implementation of additional clusters of ad servers and corresponding processors without significant changes to the underlying system.

  • Patent number: 9396038
Abstract: A private cloud-based processing pipeline apparatus and method for its use is disclosed. A first load balancer directs data packets to one of a plurality of collectors. The collectors authenticate the data packet. Then a second load balancer receives the data packet from the collector and to direct the data packet to one of a plurality of extract transform load (ETL) frontends, where the data packet is converted from a platform dependent form into a platform independent form and loaded into a queue. Handlers then process the converted data packets. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

  • Publication number: 20050145721
Abstract: Disclosed is an invention relating to the application of microdots to an article to provide identification of that article, for example in the event of theft. This may relate to the application of identifying microdots to a vehicle such as an automobile, truck, motorcycle, boat, or jet ski. Also disclosed is an application system for identifier labels which is particularly useful in applying identifier labels to articles or products such as vehicles. In embodiments of this invention, a dynamic fluid such as provided by compressed air is utilized to apply a mixture of identifier labels and a base fluid, such as an adhesive or paint, to an article. In further embodiments, the dynamic fluid is also utilized to assist in the mixing of the mixture.
