Abstract: Provided is a system and method for digital content generation and recommendation. A first plurality of stories are collected from various content sources over a network. A second plurality of stories are selected from the first plurality of stories such that a degree of similarity between any two stories of the second plurality of stories is below a determined threshold. A summary and a headline are generated for a first story of the second plurality of stories. A set of images are selected, from an image database, for the first story based on the generated summary and headline. A multimedia item including the summary, the headline, and a first image of the set of images is created. The multimedia item is presented on a lock screen interface of a user device, displaying the generated summary, the generated headline, and the first image on the lock screen interface.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for downloading a volume of content to a user device (100-2). The method includes steps of a) detecting one or more network connectivity events associated with the user device (100-2), b) determining a consumption of content by a user when content is displayed on a lock screen of the user device (100-2), c) predicting a next time interval during which the user device is unlikely to have the network connectivity, d) predicting a first volume of content likely to be consumed by the user in a predefined time duration, e) determining, based on the first volume of content, a second volume of content likely to be consumed by the user in the predicted next time interval, f) sending a request to a content server (100-4) for downloading the second volume of content before the predicted next time interval.

Abstract: Provided is a method and system for predicting content consumption. The method comprises pushing one or more content into a lock screen of a user device (105) of an initial group of online users from the server (101) and thereby receiving a plurality of initial responses by the server (101). Based on the plurality of initial responses, the method comprises determining a first group of users including a first set of online users and a first set of offline users and thereby receiving a plurality of first responses. Based on the plurality of first responses, the method comprises expanding the first set of offline users by a second set of offline users and thereby receiving a plurality of second responses. The method comprises predicting content consumption based on the plurality of initial responses, the first responses, and the second responses.

Abstract: A seawall constructed to provide an improved installation method and further provide a more resistant structure wherein the elements of the present invention are combined with an ultra high performance concrete to create the seawall of the present invention. The seawall includes a plurality of wall panel members wherein the wall panel members have a plurality of cells formed therein wherein the cells are hollow and extend between the upper edge and lower edge of the wall panel member. Wall panel connection members are configured to mateably couple adjacent wall panel members. The present invention further includes piling members configured to be journaled into the cells of the wall panel members and penetrate the ground underneath the wall panel member. A sub-cap member is superposed the wall panel member and is integrally formed therewith subsequent pouring of concrete. A top cap member is operably coupled to the sub-cap member.

Abstract: The invention disclosed comprises multifunctional, mobile, stackable storage container that features an internal lockable storage area and an external surface area. The device is capable of mounting safely and securely to a beach umbrella, chair, or outdoor fixture; it is further able to securely connect to variety of wheeled vehicles including bikes or wheelchairs. In a preferred embodiment, the invention additionally comprises solar charging and battery storage capability for providing power to a cell phone, a speaker system, and can include other features such as lights, one or more charging ports and outlets, cup holders, Bluetooth or auxiliary powered speakers, and a rechargeable battery backup.

Abstract: A conditioner includes a pressure roller assembly, a tension roller assembly, a heating element, a pressure roller drive motor, a tension drive motor, and a controller. The heating element heats the pressure roller assembly. The pressure roller drive motor rotates the pressure roller assembly. The tension drive motor rotates the tension roller assembly. The controller receives a print job complete notification to initiate a conditioner shutdown. In response to the print job complete notification, the controller turns off the tension drive motor. The controller sets the heating element to a predetermined temperature and waits a first predetermined period. In response to the first predetermined period elapsing, the controller turns off the heating element. With the heating element turned off, the controller turns off the pressure roller drive motor.

Abstract: It is provided the synthesis of an aptamer-like encoded oligomer (ALEnOmer), method of producing same and method of preparing a library of ALEnOmes. More particularly, the method of preparing ALEnOmer comprises coupling at least one phosphoramidite monomer with an orthogonal protecting group, and the ALEnOmer produces comprises a DNA coding strand covalently attached to an oligomer through a branching unit, wherein the oligomer has a degree of polymerization at least 5 and is an aptamer.

Abstract: A server system accesses a profile of a user of the media-providing service. The profile indicates a demographic group of the user. For each media item of a plurality of media items, the server system determines a year associated with the media item. The server system selects content for the user based at least in part on an affinity of members of the demographic group, as compared to members of other demographic groups, for content from the year associated with the media item. The server system provides the selected content to a client device associated with the user.

Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose systems, methods, and computer-readable media for quality control of an object relational mapping (ORM) application and correction of problematic cast functions in the context of a relational database management systems. In embodiments, source code is parsed and portions of source code are identified when those portions of source code include a problematic casting between data types or a mapping between a field and a source table. In embodiments, the source code portions are marked or flagged and a report is generated. The report identifies the marked or flagged source code and further specifies the location of the marked or flagged source code, in embodiments.

Abstract: An assembly for an autoinjector device, the assembly including a syringe support for supporting a syringe by limiting forward axial movement of the syringe relative to the syringe support, and a guard element attachable to the syringe support by an attachment so that the guard element is axially restrained both axially forwardly and axially rearwardly relative to the syringe support by the attachment. Forwardly directed axial loads received by the guard element are transmitted to the syringe support via the attachment.

Abstract: A medicament delivery device comprises a housing and a syringe axially movable in the housing and the syringe having a barrel. The device further comprises a stopper axially movable in the barrel and which separates a first chamber and second chamber from one another. The stopper is axially movable in the barrel in response to a vapour pressure being received in the second chamber. The device also includes a biasing mechanism to axially move the syringe in the housing between a first syringe position and a second syringe position in response to a first reduction in the vapour pressure in the second chamber. In the first syringe position venting of the propellant from the second chamber through a first fluid pathway is permitted to enable the first reduction in the vapour pressure in the second chamber while venting of the propellant from the second chamber through a second fluid pathway is substantially prevented.

The first stopper has a two way valve that is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration to selectively put the first volume in fluid communication with the second volume. The two way valve is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration by an increase in fluid pressure in either of the first and second volumes.

Abstract: An electronic device associated with a media-providing service has one or more processors and memory storing instructions for execution by the one or more processors. For each track of a plurality of tracks consumed by a user of the media-providing service, the electronic device receives, over a time window, an indication of user selection of the track to compile a listening history of the user and determines, based on the listening history of the user with the media-providing service, whether the track has previously been consumed by the user. The electronic device determines, for the user, a discovery score corresponding to an average preference of the user for selecting previously unconsumed tracks. In response to determining that an amount of use of the media-providing service by the user does not satisfy a use threshold, the electronic device forgoes recommending tracks to the user based on the discovery score.
