    Abstract: A metallurgical vessel having a cylindrical upper end section (21) and a top section (22) fitted to the upper end of section (21) to form a top closure of the vessel about a central opening (24) through which to extend a gas injection lance for injecting gas into the vessel. Top section (22) is formed as a two-part domed construction comprising an outer annular panel (71) welded to the vessel top section (21) and an inner annular panel (72) removably fastened to outer panel (71), both panels being formed with inwardly concave curvature so as to form together the continuously domed top section (22). The two panels (71, 72) are fastened together by clamping bolts (79) extended through outturned flanges (76, 77) formed on annular flanges standing up from the panels (71, 72). On release of bolts (79) panel (72) is removable to provide access to the interior of the vessel.

    Abstract: The present invention shows a fish cleaning device comprising a cleaning board member with a work surface upon which a fish to be cleaned may be disposed during cleaning. The board is provided with a means to grip the fish during the cleaning operation. A knife slot is also provided to keep a knife in a convenient location for use. In addition, the board is also provided with a knife holder, to store the knife during transportation and storage. The fish cleaning device is also provided with a refuse collection member, which may be mounted and demounted on the cleaning board, and which may have a refuse collection bag attached, into which the refuse of a fish cleaning operation may be conveyed.
