    Abstract: A driven plate for a friction clutch of a vehicle and which includes a pair of annular friction facings carried on an inner portion of the driven plate by a plurality of resilient cushioning elements, attached to and disposed in a circumferential array around the inner portion of the driven plate. The friction facings are secured one on each side of the resilient cushioning elements so that the friction facings are held generally parallel to each other.
