  • Publication number: 20040122643
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for simulating switched-capacitor circuits. The apparatus includes a programmable computing device, a design tool, and a behavioral simulator. The design tool is associated with the programmable computing device and is configured for interaction with a user. The design tool includes a sub-circuit definition for defining a sub-circuit of a programmable circuit device. The behavioral simulator is associated with the design tool. The behavioral simulator is configured to represent each sub-circuit via a set of discrete time-domain equations giving output of the sub-circuit as a function of input to the sub-circuit. A method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 6516348
Abstract: A method of displaying capacity information relating to computer resources over a preselected period of time. The computer resource is connected to a communications network and the method includes collecting data relating to capacity of the resource by periodically sampling preselected resource elements at a preselected fixed interval to define a capacity variable for that resource. The periodic sampling takes place from a location on the network that is remote from the computer resource and over a period of time for the resource element. The capacity variable of the resource element is compared with capacity variable(s) collected immediately prior to said capacity variable. The capacity variable is stored, together with an associated timestamp, if said capacity variable falls outside a preselected margin of the average of the prior capacity variables.

  • Publication number: 20010003408
Abstract: A mullion assembly (13) for a refrigerated cabinet (10) has an extruded metal post (14) as its main structural member. A flexible cover strip (15) is clipped on to the front face of the post (14), and forms the surface against which the doors of the cabinet seal when closed. One or more magnetic strips (16) are located between the post (14) and the cover strip (15) for magnetic interaction with associated magnetic strips in respective doors. An apertured plate (18) may be fitted to the rear of the post (14). A light (20) is suitably mounted to the rear plate (18). End caps (23) may also be fitted to the top and bottom of the post (14).

  • Publication number: 20010003248
Abstract: A refrigerated display cabinet (10) has a chamber (12) accessible via the doors (12) of the cabinet. The bottommost shelf (16) in the chamber is a substantially imperforate shelf which is spaced from the bottom wall (17) of the chamber to form a duct-like passage through which air is drawn by a fan (15). The air is directed past an evaporator (17) of a refrigerating mechanism so as to be cooled. The cooled air is recirculated into the chamber (12) by passing it through apertures in a perforate inclined rear internal wall (18) of the chamber. The remainder of the cooled air is directed downwardly through openings (24) at the top of the chamber past the front of the shelves.
