  • Publication number: 20200280756
Abstract: A system performs operations including detecting input data from a user by a UI and transmitting the input data to an intent detection service, which provides a media type and identifier. The system then determines sources that are capable of providing media content associated with the media type and media identifier, determines one or more operational properties of the media content and available media resources of a media presentation system that are capable of accessing the one or more sources and presents the media content based on the operational properties. The system further selects the available media resources that are capable of presenting the media content based on the operational properties of the media content and the capabilities of the available media resources and operational settings, and generates control data to enable the combination of the selected media resources to present the media content according to the corresponding operational settings.

  • Patent number: 10605381
Abstract: A hanger assembly comprises an elongate hanger anchor, a hanger support, and a plurality of flexible hangers for supporting a plurality of electronics cables. The elongate hanger anchor can comprise an attachment device for securing the elongate hanger anchor to a structure, such as a chassis of an electronics assembly, and the elongate hanger anchor can be interfaced to an outer rigid support panel of the chassis. The hanger support can extend or hang generally orthogonally from an end of the elongate hanger anchor, and the hanger support can support the plurality of flexible hangers for supporting the electronics cables coupled to the electronics assembly. The flexible hangers can each comprise a releaseable attachment device to operate the flexible hanger to an engaged position to the support hanger when supporting cables to the flexible hanger.

  • Patent number: 9437106
Abstract: Remote control systems utilize touch-sensitive user-input devices and/or displays which may be integral with the touch-sensitive user-input devices. Gestures input into a touch-sensitive user-input device result in signals transmitted to one or more appliances for the purpose of controlling the one or more appliances. A display provides intuitive visual feedback regarding input into the remote control system, through a touch-sensitive user-input device and/or other user-input devices. The remote control systems may be configured and dynamically updated based on user activity in connection with the remote control systems.

  • Patent number: 9239837
Abstract: Systems and methods utilize a display to provide universal remote control functionality. A menu of options appears on a display of a display device. A user can navigate the various options to control devices that are separate from the display device. The menu may be dynamically configured according to the context in which the display device is being used. The menu may be activated using a remote control device or other device and the menu may include options for controlling one or more devices that are absent from the remote control device.
