  • Publication number: 20230038292
Abstract: This description provides trigger identification notifications to patients suffering from respiratory diseases based on large amounts of patient data in order to help effect behavior changes in a patient to prevent inhaler rescue usage events from occurring. Rescue medication events, environmental conditions, and other contextually relevant patient information are detected by sensors associated with the patient's medicament devices and are collected from other sources, respectively to provide a basis to determine identify various triggers of recue inhaler usage events for a patient. Each trigger is analyzed to determine the severity of the patient's reaction to the trigger and is used to send notifications accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20220304855
Abstract: A device includes an image capture device directed towards a user's eye and a dispensing mechanism configured to receive an apparatus containing fluid. The image capture device is coupled to a controller that processes images of the user's eye captured by the image capture device to determine when the user's eye has been open for at least a threshold amount of time. An orientation sensor included in the device determines an orientation relative to vertical of the device. When the controller determines that the user's eye has been open for at least a threshold amount of time and that the device has an orientation within a specific range, the dispensing mechanism applies force to the apparatus storing fluid to dispense fluid. One or more sensors in the device detect when fluid has been dispensed.

  • Publication number: 20220231081
Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) precursor is provided. The LED precursor comprises a substrate (10), an LED structure (30) comprising a plurality of Group III-nitride layers, and a passivation layer (40). The LED structure comprises a p-type semiconductor layer (36), an n-type semiconductor layer (32), and an active layer (34) between the p-type and n-type semiconductor layers. Each of the plurality of Group III-nitride layers comprises a crystalline Group III-nitride. The LED structure has a sidewall (37) which extends in a plane orthogonal to a (0001) crystal plane of the Group III-nitride layers. The passivation layer is provided on the sidewall of the LED structure such that the passivation layer covers the active layer. The passivation layer comprises a crystalline Group III-nitride with a bandgap higher than a bandgap of the active layer.

A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing includes a single external power access for the shift actuator. A controller interprets controls the shift actuator with actuating and opposing pulses, and interprets a shaft displacement angle, determines if the transmission is in an imminent zero or zero torque region, and performs a transmission operation in response to the transmission in the imminent zero or zero torque region.
