Abstract: A system includes a memory for storing user account information and mobile device information; and a processor. The processor receives a request for a transaction. The request includes a user identifier, a transaction amount, and a transaction recipient identifier. The processor further generates a transaction code. The processor further communicates the transaction code to a user device. The processor further receives, from a mobile device, a transaction confirmation message, wherein the user device and the mobile device are separate devices. The transaction confirmation message includes a confirmation of the request for the transaction and a unique identifier of the mobile device. The processor further compares the unique identifier of the mobile device with the stored mobile device information. In response to a determination that the unique identifier of the mobile device matches the stored mobile device information, the processor further allows the transaction to occur.
