    Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed for analyzing various characteristics of snow. In one embodiment of the present invention, a snow sensor is attached to a probe that is inserted beneath the surface of the snow. A depth sensor is provided that measures the depth of the snow sensor as it is operated. The invention can record at least one characteristic of snow as a function of depth.

    Abstract: A progressive wagering system in which all or a portion of the value of a progressive jackpot is displayed with prize objects. A bank is provided for storing, displaying, and dispensing the prize objects. A plurality of wagering devices are linked to the bank for allowing players to place wagers and participate in a progressive wagering game. A control device is provided for communicating with the wagering devices and controlling the coin bank. By conspicuously displaying at least a portion of the progressive jackpot, the progressive wagering system increases excitement and enjoyment experienced by players.
