Abstract: A split-door handle for releasably interengaging upper and lower door-leaves of a split-door is provided and comprises a pivotable hand-grip element, a first door-engagable support which supports the hand-grip element to pivotably move between an upper and lower door-leaf engagement condition whereby upper and lower door-leaves of a split-door are interengaged for simultaneous movement and a upper and lower door-leaf release condition whereby the upper and lower door-leaves of the split-door are movable independently, a second door-engagable support which is spaced from the first door-engagable support and by which the hand-grip element is positively retained in the said engagement condition, and a detent at the first door-engagable support to positively hold the hand-grip element in the said second condition.

Abstract: A padded shower seat for use when showering, the shower seat comprising a seat element having one or more openings therein, and a padded element engaged with the seat element, the padded element including one or more integrally formed projections push-fit received in a respective said opening and at least one reinforcing element associated with at least one said projection for preventing or inhibiting unintentional disengagement of the padded element from the seat element, or damage to the padded element, during lateral urging of the padded element parallel to the seat element. A water-resistant padded element and a reinforcing element are also provided.

Abstract: An electric shower-waste pump and control unit for pumping run-off shower water from a waste outlet to a drain, the unit comprising a housing having a first chamber and a separate second chamber which is water-tightly sealable, a removable housing cover for closing the housing, an electric pump provided in the first chamber, electronic control circuitry provided in the second chamber, and a removable second chamber cover for water-tightly sealing the second chamber against ingress of water leakage from the pump.

Abstract: A pumped shower draining device for a shower installation, comprises a housing having a waste water inlet and a waste water outlet, a pump element provided within the housing, a pump driving device for driving the pump element, and a variable-engagement clutch for providing variable driving engagement between the pump driving device and the pump element. An amount of engagement imparted by the in use clutch is determined by an amount of waste water flowing from a shower unit of the shower installation. Preferably, the clutch is self-regulating, so that the amount of engagement is determined by an amount of water in or at the clutch.

The clamping knuckle projects laterally to a longitudinal extent of the hand-rail member for preventing or limiting in use horizontal movement of the hand-rail member. A toilet-roll holder is also provided.

Abstract: A water treatment vessel is adapted for receiving, in use, an elapsed time indicator. The vessel comprises denominating means, for denominating a portion of the indicator corresponding to a desired elapsed time, so as to allow a user to see when the indicator indicates the desired elapsed time. The denominating means may comprise one or more windows such that only a selected portion of the indicator is visible. The vessel is arranged to activate the indicator automatically when it is installed.
