Patent number: 11952083Abstract: This invention provides a means of loading, processing and conditioning raw production gas, production of CGL, storage, transport, and delivery of pipeline quality natural gas or fractionated products to market. The CGL transport vessel utilizes a pipe based containment system to hold more densely packed constituents of natural gas held within a light hydrocarbon solvent than it is possible to attain for natural gas alone under such conditions. The containment system is supported by process systems for loading and transporting the natural gas as a liquid and unloading the CGL from the containment system and then offloading it in the gaseous state. The system can also be utilized for the selective storage and transport of NGLs to provide a total service package for the movement of natural gas and associated gas production. The mode of storage is suited for both marine and land transportation and configured in modular form to suit a particular application and/or scale of operation.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: SEAONE HOLDINGS, LLCInventors: Ian Morris, Bruce Hall, Tolulope O. Publication number: 20240081808Abstract: Methods and devices for tissue fixation. A cortical button with a rib between two slotted openings. The rib increases the cortical button structural rigidity without increasing palpability. An adjustable loop construct with two discrete locking passages that provides manageable loop reduction and improved tissue coupling. The adjustable loop construct may be coupled to tissue via a passing construct. An assembly with a reduction bar, a button and an adjustable loop construct, the assembly provided assembled in a first configuration that disassembles to guide steps of tissue fixation. The reduction bar may be assembled to the reduction bar for reducing the adjustable loop construct.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: ALI HOSSEINI, Christopher David MacCready, Kendra O'Malley, Geoffrey Ian Karasic, Zenan Qi, Benjamin Michael Hall, Chun Liu, Paul McGovern, Han Teik Yeoh

Patent number: 11925207Abstract: An electronic device includes a hand held base assembly that includes circuitry including memory and firmware executed by a processor or microcontroller of the circuitry; and a cartridge assembly that includes memory that is read by the firmware of the handheld base assembly. The cartridge assembly and the handheld base assembly are configured to removably couple together to define the electronic device for producing an aerosol for inhalation by a person. An enclosed air passageway is defined by the cartridge assembly and by the handheld base assembly, which isolates the airflow from the electronics of the device. The enclosed air passageway extends between the opening of the mouthpiece for taking a breath and a diaphragm of the handheld base assembly, movement of the diaphragm changing the air pressure within an enclosed interior space having a pressure sensor for trigging the pressure sensor when a breath is taken.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2023Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: QNOVIA, INC.Inventors: Mario Danek, Kassie Betts, Ian D. Publication number: 20220265090Abstract: The present invention relates to a herb grinder. More particularly it is a compact-pocket size 3 piece or 4 piece grinder chassis including herb grinding compartment, spinning herb chamber floor compartment, nectar/crystal storage area and a rectangular side storage tray which is magnetically inserted into grinder chassis. The herb grinding compartment floor includes static cutting teeth, machined hole opening and central axle socket which runs perpendicular vertically down the center. This grinder further includes a lid and a hand crank embedded in it which when moved, moves all the connected components. The first compartment pulverizes the herbs into small chunks inside the herb grinding compartment, which then flows downward through the hole opening leading the herb to enter spinning chamber floor which then directs the herbs to longitudinal side storage tray.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2021Publication date: August 25, 2022Applicant: FIBONACCI INNOVATIONS LTDInventor: Edward Ian Hall

Patent number: 10746520Abstract: A thermomechanical safety device includes a body and a capsule valve mounted in the body. A volume of auto-ignition material is disposed in the capsule valve, which is moveable between a rest position and a firing position. A spring engages the capsule valve and the body, and biases the capsule valve towards the rest position. A temperature sensitive actuator engages the capsule valve and the body. The temperature sensitive actuator moves the capsule valve between the rest position and the firing position in response to a change in temperature. The temperature to cause the temperature sensitive actuator to move the capsule valve between the rest position and the firing position is less than the ignition temperature of the auto-ignition material.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2018Date of Patent: August 18, 2020Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Ian A. Patent number: 7905191Abstract: A liquid cargo carrying maritime vessel including a plurality of liquid cargo carrying tanks and a plurality of gas expansion trunks wherein each gas expansion trunk is above, associated with, and in fluid communication with a respective tank therebelow, via slotted apertures in the deck. Each gas expansion trunk is fixedly positioned on a portion of a deck of the vessel above the associated tank and in fluid/tight relationship with the deck over a periphery of the trunk which encloses the totality of slotted apertures in the deck. Depending on the attributes of the ship, the expansion trunk is preferably located directly above the tank and at the highest point available of the tank and as far forward on the tank as possible. Alternatively, and depending upon obstructive constraints and vessel conditions, the trunk may be placed in other locations such as aftmost on the tank or inbetween.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2004Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Assignee: Saudi Arabian Oil CompanyInventors: Ian Hall, Thomas J. Patent number: 7789455Abstract: A pull cup in a vehicle door is fitted to a door trim panel substrate and is connected to the door inner sheet metal panel of the vehicle door by way of a bracket or by one of a pair of inner and outer support brackets. The pull cup is provided with a bending initiator feature which is positioned a trigger area formed in the door trim panel substrate. In the event that a horizontal force is applied to the vehicle door, the vehicle inward movement of the door inner sheet metal panel causes the pull cup to be pushed upward. The bending initiator feature pushes on the trigger area causing the door trim panel substrate to buckle, thus substantially preventing vehicle inward movement of the door trim panel substrate during the impact event. The bending initiator feature also reduces the lateral stiffness of the door trim sub-system.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2007Date of Patent: September 7, 2010Assignee: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Ian Hall, John Pinkerton, Jeff Chickola, Brian Spahn, A.
