Abstract: A flight reservation can be made on behalf of a traveller based on determining that there is no initial profile stored for the traveller or the profile is incomplete, loading a ghost profile comprising information associated with a customer on whose behalf the traveller will be traveling, and storing in a travel record the information associated with the customer. Information drawn from the ghost profile can be used to populate fields in a Passenger Name Record and a booking made.
