    Abstract: An everted orbital displacer is formed by locating the working cavities within the orbiting piston. If the piston is double sided, a normal orbital displacer may have its working cavities located on the outer periphery of the piston, and the combination of the two displacers used as a two stage compressor, pump or motor or as the basis of a 2 stroke or 4 stroke internal combustion engine.
