    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for merging customer profiles, such as may be implemented by a computer-implemented contact center service. In some aspects, a subset of profiles may be determined that satisfy merging criteria, where individual profiles include a plurality of data fields. At least one value in a first data field that conflicts between at least two profiles may be identified. Next a merged value may be selected for the first data field based on data deduplication criteria, where the data deduplication criteria includes at least one indicator of accuracy of values of the plurality of data fields. As a result of a determination that at least the subset of profiles of the group of profiles meet the merging criteria, at least the subset of profiles may be combined into a combined profile using the merged value.

Terms or conditions of a transaction are agreed to between the parties. A transaction identifier for the transaction is created and blockchain-based media of value of the seller is obtained from the seller's wallet. Instructions for a smart contract are created; the smart contract controls release of the blockchain-based media of value based on its terms. The buyer visits a Self-Service Terminal (SST) deposits fiat currency in an amount dictated by the terms and the SST verifies the deposit and notifies the smart contract. The instructions of the smart contract cause the crypto currency to be transferred to the seller's wallet. The deposited fiat currency can be withdrawn at an SST by the seller or credited automatically to a financial account associated with the seller.

    Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms to reduce double encryption of packets that are transmitted using encrypted tunnels. The techniques described herein include determining that portions of the packets are already encrypted, identifying portions of the packets that are unencrypted, and selectively encrypting the portions of the packets that are unencrypted prior to transmission through the encrypted tunnel. In this way, potentially private or sensitive data in the packets that is unencrypted, such as information in the packet headers, will be encrypted using the encryption protocol of the encrypted tunnel, but the data of the packets that is already encrypted, such as the payload, may avoid unnecessary double encryption. By reducing (or eliminating) the amount of data in data packets that is double encrypted, the amount of time taken by computing devices, and computing resources consumed, to encrypted traffic for encrypted tunnels may be reduced.
