    Abstract: The invention relates to methods for determining the presence or absence of striatin-anaplastic lymphoma kinase (STRN-ALK) gene fusion and/or a Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3—transforming acidic coiled-coil containing protein 3 (FGFR3-TACC3) gene fusion in an individual, especially an individual suffering from lung cancer.
