    Abstract: The present invention is directed to curable film-forming compositions and coating kits, each comprising: (a) a polyepoxide functional polymer; (b) a polythiol functional compound, wherein the polythiol functional compound comprises at least two or at least three thiol functional groups and wherein if the polythiol functional compound contains hydroxyl functional groups, the ratio of thiol functional groups to hydroxyl functional groups within the polythiol functional compound is not 1:1; (c) a reactive compound different from the polythiol functional compound (b), containing multiple pendant and/or terminal functional groups selected from carboxylic acid, anhydride, amine and phenol that are reactive with epoxide functional groups; and (d) a pigment. The curable film-forming composition demonstrates a pigment to binder ratio greater than or equal to 2 and less than 3, adhesion to diverse substrates, and fast sandability.

    Abstract: A technique for controlling access to one or more attractions is achieved using a number of access keys, each being issued to one or more users. An electronic queue management part manages a virtual queue in respect of each attraction and receives electronic requests for attraction access, each request relating to an access key and being for the users associated with it to access a particular attraction. Receipt of each request causes the respective users to be added to a corresponding virtual queue. A time at which each group of users reaches the front of the virtual queue and can access the attraction is determined. The users access the attractions by presenting an access key to an access control part, in communication with the electronic queue management part. Only a user presenting an access key at the correct time for accessing the attraction is allowed access to the attraction.

The methods address the characterization of a target protein analyte, which has a dimension greater than an internal diameter of the nanopore tunnel, and which is also physically associated with a polymer. The methods further comprise applying an electrical potential to the nanopore system to cause the polymer to interact with the nanopore tunnel. The ion current through the nanopore is measured to provide a current pattern reflective of the structure of the portion of the polymer interacting with the nanopore tunnel. This is used as a metric for characterizing the associated protein that does not pass through the nanopore.

    Abstract: Using a deep learning inference system, respective similarities are measured for each of a set of intermediate representations to input information used as an input to the deep learning inference system. The deep learning inference system includes multiple layers, each layer producing one or more associated intermediate representations. Selection is made of a subset of the set of intermediate representations that are most similar to the input information. Using the selected subset of intermediate representations, a partitioning point is determined in the multiple layers used to partition the multiple layers into two partitions defined so that information leakage for the two partitions will meet a privacy parameter when a first of the two partitions is prevented from leaking information. The partitioning point is output for use in partitioning the multiple layers of the deep learning inference system into the two partitions.

    Abstract: A neural network is augmented to enhance robustness against adversarial attack. In this approach, a fully-connected additional layer is associated with a last layer of the neural network. The additional layer has a lower dimensionality than at least one or more intermediate layers. After sizing the additional layer appropriately, a vector bit encoding is applied. The encoding comprises an encoding vector for each output class. Preferably, the encoding is an n-hot encoding, wherein n represents a hyperparameter. The resulting neural network is then trained to encourage the network to associated features with each of the hot positions. In this manner, the network learns a reduced feature set representing those features that contain a high amount of information with respect to each output class, and/or to learn constraints between those features and the output classes. The trained neural network is used to perform a classification that is robust against adversarial examples.
