Abstract: A tissue anchor is provided that includes a metal wire shaped so as to define a straight anchor-shaft portion and a tissue-coupling portion extending therefrom. The tissue anchor is configured such that when the tissue-coupling portion is in an unconstrained state: (a) the tissue-coupling portion crosses itself at first and second loop-end longitudinal portions along the wire, so as to define a looped portion, which generally defines a looped-portion plane, (b) the first loop-end longitudinal portion is closer to a first proximal wire end along the wire than the second loop-end longitudinal portion is to the first proximal wire end along the wire, and (c) a greatest absolute distance between the first loop-end longitudinal portion and the first proximal wire end is greater than a greatest absolute distance between the second loop-end longitudinal portion and the first proximal wire end. A travel limiter arranged to limit a pivoting travel of the drive pawl (1) away from engagement with the ratchet gear (3). By limiting the travel of the drive pawl (1), we remove the risk of over-extension of the spring (3).

When the container is removably coupled to the mounting device: (a) the body faces one of the front face and the rear face and the wings face the other of the front face and the rear face; (b) the first flap and the second flap are in contact with the body; and (c) the junction is in contact with the bottom end.

Abstract: Apparatus for repairing a cardiac valve, e.g., a tricuspid valve, are provided. The apparatus may include a prosthetic device coupled to an elongated support to suspend and maintain the prosthetic device within the cardiac valve. The support may include a proximal, delivery portion detachably coupled a distal, implantable portion coupled to the prosthetic device, and two or more adjustable bends to facilitate navigation through the patient's anatomy. The adjustable bends may be selectively adjusted, components of the distal, implantable portion may be locked to each other, and the proximal, delivery portion may be detached from the distal, implantable portion responsive to actuation at a handle operatively coupled to the support. The prosthetic device may be formed of biocompatible material coupled to a frame, and may have prosthetic leaflets that allow blood flow in one direction during, e.g., diastole, but prevent blood regurgitation during, e.g., systole.

Abstract: A system and method for filming and displaying a 3D image is provided, including acquisition of one or more video images at one or more capture locations of one or more subjects, the images being recorded as a data film for storage and playback, or transmission over a network, to a watching audience. The video images at the display venue are projected onto or through semi-transparent screens arranged to appear in front of a backdrop to a stage. The images may be displayed alongside or on the same stage as live performing talent, the projection perceived by the viewing audience as a virtual image. The semi-transparent screen is invisible to the watching audience or the cameras during the performance. The video image viewed by an online audience is perceived as bearing a close likeness to subject(s), providing a real presence of a virtual subject performing on a stage.
