  • Patent number: 11280360
Abstract: An assembly for coupling a first component with a second component. The assembly may comprise first and second connectors respectively associated with the first and second components, a first biasing member carried by either the first or second connector, and a second biasing member also carried by either the first connector or the second connector. When mated together, the first and second connectors are biased in a first direction by the first biasing member thereby constraining relative movement between the connectors in the first direction. The connectors are also biased in a second direction by the second biasing member thereby constraining relative movement between the connectors in the second direction, wherein the second direction is oriented at a non-zero angle relative to the first direction. And the connectors are relatively slidable in a third direction different from the first and second directions.

  • Patent number: 9540277
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for depositing thin film coatings on a substrate. The deposition apparatus is designed to keep gaseous reactant materials to be deposited apart from one another in the deposition apparatus, by one or more separation devices and/or methods, but nevertheless, to allow the chemical reactants to mix and react at or near the substrate surface, rapidly enough to create a uniform film at commercially viable deposition rates.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 22, 2012
Date of Patent: January 10, 2017
    Assignee: Pilkington Group Limited
Inventors: Douglas M. Nelson, Ian R. Williams, Michel J. Soubeyrand, David A. Strickler, Kevin D. Sanderson, Yasunori Seto, Keiko Tsuri

  • Patent number: 7775613
Abstract: An assembly includes a housing, one or more telescoping brackets movably secured to the housing, and a door portion movably secured to the housing and the one or more telescoping brackets. A method for providing increased access to a storage compartment includes the steps of movably joining one or more telescoping brackets to a housing, movably joining a door portion to the one or more telescoping brackets and the housing, and moving the door portion to cause the one or more telescoping brackets to telescopingly project the door relative housing to provide access to a storage compartment.
