    Abstract: According to an aspect, a method includes receiving a resource locator of a web page and obtaining a visual item specifier, where the visual item specifier includes information associated with a visual item on the web page. The method includes identifying, using the visual item specifier, a location of the visual item on the web page, rendering at least a portion of the web page on a user interface of an application, and rendering a visual indicator on the user interface. The visual indicator is rendered in an area of the user interface that is different from the location of the visual item on the web page. The visual indicator is configured to indicate a presence of the visual item on the web page.
