Patent number: 4797251Abstract: A composition for fixing metal powder molding at sintering, which is used, in the case of disposing a metal powder molding formed by rolling a mixture of a metal powder and a synthetic resin-based binder on a metal base material and sintering the metal powder molding in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, to adhere and fix the metal powder molding onto the base material until the metal powder molding is sintered by interposing between the metal powder molding and the base material, comprising a thermosetting resin composition containing a mixture of a thermosetting resin and at least one member selected from the group consisting of a metal fine powder, a thermoplastic resin and an adhesive material, wherein the amount of the residual carbon of the composition after completion of sintering is at least about 0.5% by weight.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 1986Date of Patent: January 10, 1989Assignee: Nitto Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takahumi Sakuramoto, Eishi Asoshina, Takashi Tominaga, Ichiro Ijichi, Kiyohiro Kamei, Toshiharu Konishi

Patent number: 4487897Abstract: A process for polymerizing acrylic monomers is disclosed. The process involves providing a reactor which is generally in the shape of a screw type reactor having temperature control means thereon. The reactor is continually charged with a supply of acrylic monomers having a viscosity of 10 poises or less at ordinary temperature. The acrylic monomers are continually moved through the reactor by turning of the screw within the reactor in order to cause the acrylic monomers to continually contact renewed surfaces within the reactor. The temperature in the reactor is controlled within two or more zones within the reactor in order to increase the viscosity of the acrylic monomers in the reactor by rapid polymerization within an initial area and then allow polymerization to proceed to one or more additional areas in the reactor to a prescribed rate of conversion. Polymerized product is continuously removed from the reactor.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1983Date of Patent: December 11, 1984Assignee: Nitto Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Naoki Matsuoka, Hiroshi Matsumoto, Yutaka Hori, Yoshio Miki, Kenji Sano, Ichiro Ijichi

Patent number: 4243462Abstract: A heat-curable multilayer composite sheet comprising a layer comprising one or more unsaturated compounds which are normally solid or liquid free radical reactive unsaturated compounds and a layer comprising a normally solid or liquid free radical initiator, the layers being bonded to each other as a laminate as separate layers at a temperature at which the free radical initiator does not lose its free radical reaction-initiating capability, and,a process for preparing a heat-curable multilayer composite sheet, which comprises coating a layer-forming material containing a normally solid or liquid free radical reactive unsaturated compound on a strippable sheet to form an unsaturated compound material layer on the strippable sheet, coating a layer-forming material containing a normally solid or liquid free radical initiator on a strippable sheet to form a free initiator layer on the strippable sheet, bringing the unsaturated compound material layer into contact with the free radical initiator layer, and bondinType: GrantFiled: May 4, 1979Date of Patent: January 6, 1981Assignee: Nitto Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yutaka Hori, Hidekazu Takahashi, Makoto Sunakawa, Ichiro Ijichi, Kiyohiro Kamei

Patent number: 4152309Abstract: A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a liquid diene polymer containing therein an average of about 2.0 to about 2.5 functional groups capable of reacting with an isocyanate group, an isocyanate compound containing therein 2 or more isocyanate groups, and a tackifier, wherein an anionic surface active agent is compounded therewith in an amount of about 0.2 to about 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the total weight of the liquid diene polymer and the isocyanate compound. This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is coated on a support and heated to produce a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer whereby a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, for example, can be obtained.Type: GrantFiled: January 23, 1978Date of Patent: May 1, 1979Assignee: Nitto Electric Industrial Company, Ltd.Inventors: Ichiro Ijichi, Shigetoshi Kai, Hikaru Teranishi, Akira Morioka, Kazuyoshi Seki
