  • Publication number: 20240313951
Abstract: Provided are techniques for providing security for edge computing using location data. A command base location of an entity, an application identifier of the entity, and an expire date for the application identifier are determined. A message generated from the command base location and the application identifier is sent to a location authority. A signed command base location is received based on the command base location being within a jurisdiction of the location authority and a current date being before the expire date. A common key for the command base location is generated using the application identifier and the signed command base location. A public key is generated using the common key. • Patent number: 11025572
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a first mail transfer agent having a first spool, an electronic mail. The computer-implemented method further includes issuing, by the first mail transfer agent, a first unique identifier to be associated with the electronic mail. The computer-implemented method further includes holding the electronic mail in the first spool for a first predetermined period of time. The computer-implemented method further includes transferring the electronic mail from the first spool to a second mail transfer agent having a second spool. The computer-implemented method further includes issuing, by the second mail transfer agent, a second unique identifier to be associated with the electronic mail. The computer-implemented method further includes holding the electronic mail in the second spool for a second predetermined period of time.

  • Patent number: 9887950
Abstract: Validation of e-mails is provided. An e-mail is received. A sender of the e-mail is determined. A message posting service account that is associated with the sender is identified. The message posting service is queried for a first hash value that corresponds to the e-mail based, at least in part, on the account. A response is received from the message posting service. Whether the account includes the first hash value is determined based, at least in part, on the response. The e-mail is or is not validated based, at least in part, on the response from the message posting service.
