  • Patent number: 5956819
Abstract: A concealed slide fastener slider comprises: a slider body having a guide post on which an attachment lug stands; a resilient locking lever attached at one end to the attachment lug and having at the other end a locking pawl retractably inserted into an element guide channel of the slider body; a clamp having an aperture and a central bent portion bent in an inverted L shape so that the clamp can fall flat to a rear side of the slider body; and a pull tab loosely threaded through the aperture. When a cloth is jammed between the slider body and the clamp, only a front part of the clamp assumes an upright posture but a rear part of the clamp to which the pull tab is attached assumes a horizontal posture, thus causing the pull tab to rest on the cloth.

  • Patent number: 4768263
Abstract: An automatic lock slider for a slide fastener includes a locking prong spring-biased to protrude into a Y-shaped guide channel in a slider body. The locking prong is urged downwardly to engage a coupling head of a coupling element in an intermeshing region where the mating pair of coupling elements are brought into and out of intermeshing engagement. The locking prong is urged against the coupling head to effect locking of the slider.

  • Patent number: 4139928
Abstract: A slider for slide fasteners has a retaining member mounted on the slider body and having at one end a downwardly extending anchoring portion including a reduced neck and shoulders on opposite ends thereof, defining therebetween a pair of clamping recesses, and at the other end a vertically directed head. The upper shield of the slider body has a support lug and an aperture lying beneath the lug and engaging the head of the retaining member, the slider body having a vertical clamping groove defined by outwardly diverging side walls and a flat vertical end wall of the stock of the diamond of the slider body. The end wall is centrally vertically separated by a V-shaped recess and has a pair of horizontally projecting clamping lugs dimensioned to fit in the clamping recesses in the retaining member.

  • Patent number: 4133083
Abstract: A pull tab pivotally connected to a slider body is formed integral with a pair of locking cams which, when the pull tab is turned to a recumbent position on the slider body, intrude into the guide channel therein for pressing at least one fastener element into a depression formed in the inside surface of the bottom wing of the slider body and hence for locking the slider against movement. The depression is bounded at its front end by a pair of forwardly converging walls each formed at right angles with the plane of the slider body bottom wing and by a pair of rearwardly converging walls disposed between the forwardly converging walls and each inclined forwardly with respect to the plane of the slider body bottom wing.
