  • Patent number: 7149084
Abstract: In an electronic apparatus, including personal computers, being called by a desktop type and a notebook type, as well as a server, etc., comprising a redundant cooling system, mounting a CPU 200 necessitating cooling in a housing 100, wherein a liquid cooling system for cooling the CPU comprises: a cooling jacket 50; a radiator 60; and two (2) sets of circulation pumps, and there are further provided check valves 91 and 92 and conduits 81, 82 . . . , so as to maintain circulation of the liquid coolant even when one of the two (2) sets of circulation pumps stops the function thereof, through the other circulation pump, thereby built up a redundant liquid cooling system.

  • Patent number: 7044198
Abstract: A liquid cooling jacket and a system for use in an electronic apparatus, preferable in the cooling capacity or performance, with less in man-hour and manufacturing costs in need of process thereof, and applicable into a narrow space, wherein a plural number of lamination plates, each being formed through the punching process, are piled up in the width direction thereof, for each piece thereof, and are bonded with each other. A cooling liquid flows in a flow passage defined between the laminating plates, and the laminating plates themselves function as a cooling fin.

  • Publication number: 20050081534
Abstract: In a liquid cooling system of low costs and being installable with high density into a server having a several kinds of predetermined heights of housings, each of devices building up the liquid cooling system is set to be within about 44 mm, being the standard height of a lack when installing into a cabinet for the server lack of lack-mount method, in particular, about from 40 mm to 36 mm, and this is combined with, thereby building up a liquid cooling system of low costs and enabling high density installation, for an electronic apparatus of lack-mount method having different heights.

  • Patent number: 5940274
Abstract: A casing is intended to meet various requirements of a computer network system, reduce the cost of a computer network system, enable the enhancement of a computer network system after installation, and secure desired functions and reliability of a computer network system for a long period of use. The casing is constructed by stacking a plurality of types of subordinate casings (2, 3) differing from each other in height on a base (4). Each of the subordinate casings (2, 3) is provided with an individual front cover (5), and common signal lines on its rear surface having removable rear cable covers on the rear surface. The subordinate casings (2, 3) contain general-purpose electronic devices, such as a personal computer, a workstation, an extension disk/disk array, an integrated communication server (ICS), an uninterruptible power supply and the like, respectively. The functional devices are interconnected by signal lines extended on the rear surface of the casing to construct a system.
