    Abstract: A system and method for detecting and recording interference in an RF communication channel for an ingestible imaging device is provided. During a period when transmission in a communication channel may be idle, interference levels may be detected and recorded. Changes in transmission levels may be altered based on the detected interference level. Transmission may be delayed due to detected levels of interfering signals.
