  • Publication number: 20230050186
Abstract: Provided herein are systems, devices and methods for monitoring the progression of, determining and/or assessing brain related conditions in a subject based on pupil light responses (PLRs) to focal central and peripheral chromatic light stimuli, in particular, by classifying the PLR based on one or more PLR parameter values, wherein the classifying allows monitoring the progression of, determining and/or assessing the brain related condition

  • Publication number: 20220023654
Abstract: The invention provides a method of noninvasively treating a condition associated with reduced integrity or increased permeability of an epithelial layer by a series of magnetic pulses having a magnitude of up to 3 T, wherein the magnetic pulses are designed to induce an electric field having a magnitude of up to 250 Volt per meter adjacent to a target treatment area, the condition particularly being ocular condition associated with reduced barrier function of the cornea. The invention provides a device for effecting the tissue treatment, creating series of pulses exhibiting a rate of change of more than 200 T/s in the absolute value.

  • Publication number: 20210236743
Abstract: Provided is a device for injection into an interlayer of an organ of a subject. The device includes a needle having a size transitional portion terminating in a sharp needle distal tip. The device also includes an elongated tissue separator that is shiftable in the needle lumen. An actuator shifts the tissue separator in the needle lumen between a first position, in which the separator distal tip is fixedly positioned proximally to the needle distal tip, and a second position in which the separator distal tip is fixedly positioned a predetermined distance distally from the needle distal tip.

  • Patent number: 11076757
Abstract: A system and method for determining a state of health of an eye using a pupillometer is provided comprising an ocular fixture, a testing compartment, a camera, and a controller. The testing compartment comprises a plurality of chromatic beam emitters arranged about a visual field. The ocular fixture is positioned to facilitate exposure of light sensitive ocular structures of the eye to a chromatic stimuli. The camera is positioned to record temporal pupil responses of the eye. The controller controls emission wavelength, intensity, and duration of the chromatic beam emitters. The controller processes temporal pupil response data to generate signals representative of the eye positioned at the ocular fixture in response to the chromatic stimuli at a plurality of locations in the visual field. The method comprises driving the chromatic beam emitters with the controller to generate signals using chromatic stimuli and determining the state of health of the eye.
