  • Publication number: 20240186541
Abstract: A method for humidifying an air supply of a fuel cell, an air supply circuit including an injection line, an intermediate line and an evacuation line. The method includes steps for recovering recycled air, in the evacuation line, and injecting recycled air into the injection line so as to mix it with ambient air from the environment. The method additionally includes increasing the ratio of recycled air in the injection line when a power setting of the cell reduces and if the power setting is lower than a predefined power threshold, and reducing the ratio of recycled air when the power setting increases and if the power setting remains lower than the predefined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240053011
Abstract: A guiding array (200; 600) for a flow duct system (100; 200; 300; 500) includes a series of internested annular guide vanes (202), leading edges (230) or other common parts of the guide vanes being arranged to be positioned different distances from an upstream port, which may be an imaginary cylindrical surface substantially at a heat exchanger outlet (308; 508) within a fluid handling system such as an engine module (38).

  • Patent number: 6352138
Abstract: A wheelchair braking system, for use on a wheelchair having a frame and a pair of wheels, comprising an outer plate assembly, an inner plate assembly, and an axle assembly attached to one of the wheels. The axle assembly is supported by the outer plate assembly. The axle assembly has a sprocket gear comprising a plurality of sprocket teeth. When weight upon the wheelchair is reduced when a passenger gets up from the wheelchair, an outer plate assembly moves downward with respect to an inner plate assembly, bringing a foremast teeth into contact with a sprocket gear, and braking the wheels. A manual release lever extends rearward from a housing so that a person standing behind the wheelchair can selectively operate the manual release lever to free the foremast from the sprocket gear and allow the wheels to rotate.

  • Patent number: 6012555
Abstract: A wheelchair braking system, for use on a wheelchair having a frame and a pair of wheels, comprising an axle assembly attached to one of the wheels. The axle assembly is supported within a block assembly. The axle assembly has a locking gear comprising a plurality of gear teeth. The block assembly is mounted within a housing and is capable of controlled vertical motion within the housing. The housing is rigidly mounted to the frame. A main spring is located between the housing and block, such that weight upon the wheelchair compresses the main spring and allows the block to move upward within the housing. A foremast assembly having a foremast body is mounted to the housing such that when the block is lowered sufficiently within the housing, the foremast body engages the gear teeth and stops the gear from rotating.
