  • Publication number: 20240017966
Abstract: A method of predicting deterioration in a brake system of a passenger moving system includes, placing at least one sensor within the passenger moving system such that the sensor is in communication with at least one of a main shaft of the passenger moving system, at least one movable panel of the passenger moving system, a motor of the passenger moving system, a control unit of the passenger moving system, or a gateway device. The method also includes activating the at least one sensor, performing data acquisition each time the passenger moving system is stopped, refining the acquired data, calculating a stopping distance of the passenger moving system, repeating the performing and refining steps over a specified time period, and triggering a command signal initiating a maintenance operation in response to the calculated stopping distance reaching a pre-determined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230035017
Abstract: A method of predicting deterioration in a component part of a passenger moving system includes, activating at least one sensor in communication with the component part, performing data acquisition to acquire data from the at least one sensor, processing the data, repeating the processing step over a first specified time period, and triggering a command signal to initiate a maintenance operation and generating a predictive alert, both in response to the processed data reaching a pre-determined threshold.

  • Patent number: 9776833
Abstract: A conveyor system for displacing passenger/goods formed by a moving endless belt comprising a plurality of pallet assemblies and drive means to transmit a drive movement to the pallet belt. The pallets have a functional surface opposite to the support surface and having first meshing means. The drive means comprise second meshing means designed to interact with the first meshing means, so that the drive pallets, are driven by the drive means by means of a meshing between the first meshing means and the second meshing means and to drive said pallet belt in the movement direction D. The drive means have a linear motor aligned with the movement direction D.

  • Patent number: 9751729
Abstract: An example drive system for a transportation system may include an actuator for transmitting an actuation motion from a motor, a first pulling device configured to transmit a pulling motion from the actuator to moving parts of the transportation system in a transition speed section situated between an embarking/disembarking zone and a middle zone, a second pulling device configured to transmit a pulling motion from the first pulling device to the moving parts of the transportation system in a high-speed section in a middle zone of the transportation system. In some examples, the first pulling device may be a carriage.
