Abstract: The invention relates to an input device comprising: a plurality of input keys connected to a first input of a signal processing unit; a touch sensor connected to a second input of the signal processing unit, the touch sensor touch sensor being configured to generate a touch signal corresponding to a movement of one or more objects on or above an upper surface of the one or more of the input keys: and the signal processing unit; wherein there are a plurality of modes of the input device, and wherein the signal processing unit is arranged to: receive the touch signal; determine a signalled mode of the input device based on the touch signal; and enable the signalled mode and/or activate the signalled mode.
