  • Patent number: 10819648
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving a plurality of digital data messages in a first-in first-out (FIFO) primary queue of an electronic digital memory that is coupled to a message consuming process that is executed using computer instructions that are programmed to serially obtain messages from the primary queue and to process the messages; determining that processing a first message of the plurality of messages has failed; in response to determining that processing the first message failed, using the message consuming process, sending a first acknowledgement to the primary queue, sending the first message to a retry queue that is different from the primary queue, and processing one or more other messages from the primary queue; obtaining the first message from the retry queue; reprocessing the first message; repeating periodically selecting and processing one or more other messages from the primary queue and periodically selecting and processing one or more different other mes

  • Patent number: 10275602
Abstract: An end user identity protection suite (IPS) is discussed. In one embodiment, the IPS includes a identity validation system to evaluate a security level of at least one identity tool, the identity tool not related to computer security but rather to the user's identity. In one embodiment, the IPS further includes a security signal logic to generate a security status signal indicating an overall security state of the user, the security status signal comprising a combination of the security levels of each of the plurality of identity tools.

  • Patent number: 9638452
Abstract: The present invention, in some embodiments thereof, relates to a method and scalable devices for hyperfast cooling and re-warming of samples. More specifically, it relates to cryogenic preservation of biological samples via vitrification. It includes: a liquid sample placed at ambient temperature in a flat thermo conductive container that in some embodiments additionally contains a detachable disposable or sterilizable thermo conductive spiral; transferring the sample to a cooling chamber using a linear percussion stepping motor drive; hyperfast cooling of the sample using streams of pressurized liquid coolant; transferring the sample to a detachable shipping/storage chamber filled with liquid coolant, from which the sample can be transferred to another vessel that contains liquid cryogenic coolant and moved back to the shipping/storage chamber.

  • Patent number: 9554572
Abstract: Embodiments of a cryopreservation device and method of use are described that allow cryopreserved samples to be transferred from one location to another. In one embodiment, a cryopreservation device comprises two, telescoping tubes; one for plunging biological material into a reservoir of cryogenic liquid refrigerant, and the other for capturing the biological material along with some of the liquid refrigerant, for transferring the biological material to another location.

  • Patent number: 9557090
Abstract: A method for hyper-fast cooling of samples is described. The samples are secured in a sample container, then the sample container inserted into a cryogenic cooling chamber through an opening of the cooling chamber. The sample container is placed some distance away from a cooling head, but within range of a continuous stream of pressurized liquid coolant emitted by the cooling head, where, the sample is hyper-cooled by spraying the sample container with a continuous stream of the pressurized liquid coolant.
