Abstract: A profile-grinding machine wherein the work stocks carry a turnable axle with rigidly secured jaw plates located between which, parallel to each other and to the axle, are an arbor for the work and a master form, interconnected kinematically for synchronous rotation. The master form interacts with a contact member installed on the bed. The working surface of the grindstone and the surface of the contact member interacting with the master form have approximately the same spherical surface.
