Abstract: A method for preconfiguring an appliance having a configuration memory configured to have information written to it when the appliance is in a deactivated state, wherein the appliance is configured to make contact with at least one further appliance during operation, includes capturing a data record from the appliance, wherein the data record contains at least identification data from the appliance. The method further includes determining a piece of configuration information from the appliance by using the data record and at least one data record from the at least one further appliance, and writing the configuration information to the configuration memory of the appliance in order to preconfigure the appliance.

Abstract: An apparatus for assisting human beings in the domestic environment includes a light source configured to produce a positionable luminous object. The apparatus is configured to project the luminous object onto different objects in the domestic environment. The luminous object may be a light marker to highlight articles or to present a pool of light on a projection area for instructions. The apparatus is used for structuring a daily routine with events, such as a telephone call, being taken into account. A method involves determining a domestic environment and proceeding with a domestic situation according to the daily routine.

Abstract: A method for processing state data of a patient includes: acquisition of a time of a reception of an acoustic or optical signal of the patient, the acoustic or optical signal representing a signal with which the patient can express his state; a transmission step in which a data file that represents the acoustic or optical signal and that is provided with an item of information about the time is transmitted to a management device via a transmit interface of an input device; a receive step in which the data file is received via a receive interface of the management device; and a step of storing the data file, in the form of a text data file or image data file, in a register which is assigned to the patient and which includes a multiplicity of text data files or image data files.
